The entire staff of the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at NYU Langone Medical Center expresses its deepest sympathies to Medical Center trustee Paolo Fresco following the sudden passing of his dear wife, Marlene Fresco. Together, the Frescos faced the challenges of Marlene's brave fight against Parkinson's disease by opening their hearts. The Frescos' recent gift to NYU Langone, to establish the international Marlene and Paolo Fresco Institute for Parkinson's and Movement Disorders, holds great promise for families around the world who struggle with movement disorders. We remember the lovely Marlene for her generous spirit and her courage.
