Marlene Fresco

The trustees, faculty, and staff of NYU Langone Medical Center are deeply saddened by the death of Marlene Fresco, beloved wife of NYU Langone Medical Center trustee Paolo Fresco. Marlene and Paolo established the international Marlene and Paolo Fresco Institute for Parkinson's & Movement Disorders to advance the understanding of, treatment for, and education supporting Parkinson's disease and movement disorders. They envisioned a far greater reach in combatting these devastating illnesses through strong partnerships with academic, scientific, and educational networks in Italy. We are extraordinarily grateful to Marlene, for her vision, generosity, and compassion in helping those in need and advancing the prevention and treatment of movement disorders. We extend our sincerest condolences to her family and friends.
