Grammy Awards 2020, il trionfo della 18enne Billie Eilish. Chi sono i vincitori

La baby star conquista 5 premi nella notte degli oscar musicali, che è stata anche un omaggio a Kobe Bryant

Los Angeles, 27 gennaio - È il trionfo di Billie Eilish: la cantautrice americana fa incetta di Grammy Awards in tutte le principali categorie dei sessantaduesimi “Oscar della Musica”, andati in scena ieri sera allo Staples Center di Los Angeles. Proprio nel palazzetto in cui ha giocato per 20 anni Kobe Bryant, la leggenda del basket scomparsa con la figlia ieri in un incidente di elicottero. La cerimonia è stata dedicata a lui, con la madrina  Alicia Keys e Boyz II Men commossi a cantare il brano "It is so hard to say goodbye to yesterday". Lizzo ha commentato: "Questa notte è per Kobe" e gli ha dedicato "Truth hurts" and "Cuz I love you".

I 5 Grammy di Billie Eilish, e gli altri

La 18enne californiana ha portato a casa un totale di 5 premi su 6 nominations. I più importanti nelle categorie miglior artista esordiente, miglior album dell'anno (“When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”), miglior canzone dell'anno e miglior registrazione dell'anno (“Bad Guy”); il suo disco ha conquistato anche il Grammy nella categoria Best Pop Vocal Album. Tre Grammy per Lizzo: migliore performance solista, migliore performance R&B e Best Urban Contemporary Album. Lady Gaga e Bradley Cooper si portano a casa il premio Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media con "A star is Born", con Lady Germanotta sugli scudi anche nella categoria "Best Song Written for Visual Media" con il brano "I'll never love again". Un’altra star globale come Beyoncé vince nella categoria "Best Music Film" con "Homecoming", mentre ha preso una statuetta anche Michelle Obama: l'ex first lady ha convinto la giuria con "Becoming", la sua autobiografia (in versione audiolibro). Da segnalare due premi ai “vecchi” Chemical Brothers nella categoria dance/electronic. Un ennesimo riconoscimento per John Williams con le sue composizioni per Star Wars (“Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite”). E un premio postumo: "Best Rap Performance" a Nipsey Hussle per "Rocks in the Middle".
